Submit your application for a Small Grant or Special Project by March 31st.

The Mission of the Ponaganset Education Foundation (PEF) is to foster student excellence and teacher initiatives at Ponaganset schools. Foundation grants will serve to supplement the educational programs offered by the School District. The grant award process is designed to encourage the development of educational activities that improve and enhance student achievement.

Types Of Grants

Small Projects — awards up to $750
Small Projects focus on student achievement by bringing greater depth to teaching and enhancing student engagement in learning. Any Ponaganset teacher, resource teacher, counselor, administrator, or educational support person is eligible to apply for a Small Project grant, either individually or as a team.

Special Projects — awards up to $2500
Special Projects have the same goals as Small Projects but cross academic disciplines, target broad student achievement goals and are compatible with District Academic Performance Standards. Proposals may be submitted by any Ponaganset teacher, department chair or principal, either individually or as a team.

Application Deadline
Applications must be received at or at the Superintendent's Office (91 Anan Wade Rd), by midnight, March 31, 2022.
